We provided content direction and creation for portions of the MAX ‘House of Divine’ Tour. Particle content generated in Notch was then added in realtime to the artists image. Additionally, we built particle systems inside of Notch that were then keyframed to the original music and rendered out as standalone content.

MMV Designs worked with Crush creative to direct and operate a visual performance to go along with Weezer’s 2019 Coachella Performance. Old and New content was provided by the Crush team and MMV utilized a Resolume Arena 6 Server to program and operate the performance.

MMV Designs provided TouchDesigner server maintenance and operation for the Deadmau5 ‘Cube V3’ Tour. Additionally, we provided programming in TouchDesigner to incorporate custom arduino modules located inside the costume head to live track the position and rotation. Those were then applied to 3d models of the head live on screen. MMV Designs also handled Content Direction and Operations for non-tour shows.

MMV Designs was asked to fill in for Dillon Francis’s performance for the first weekend of Coachella 2019. Duties included deploying and operating a pre-built Resolume Arena 6 showfile provided by The Darkest Color. Additional responsibilities involved remapping video tiles inside of Resolume Arena to fit real life specifications.

MMV Designs was called on once again to provide Resolume Arena 6 Server deployment and operation for Dillon Francis at Hard Summer Music Festival 2019. We content directed a fresh show with existing content to fit the new set that premiered at the festival. MMV Designs provided both deployment and operation as well as server mapping and timecode programming.

MMV Designs provided bespoke Notch blocks and system diagnostic programming for the Glitch Mob ‘Europe’ Tour in 2018. Mostly Imag effects were created to add a sense of dark, moody looks to the clean camera images. The Notch system was run separately and incorporated into a Resolume Arena 6 Server.

MMV Designs provided notch blocks for Train’s ‘Save Me San Francisco’ tour. Custom Blocks were made to work with the lighting team so the operator could trigger a special visual effect for particular moments in the show. On command, butterflies would emerge from the artist on the screen and fly away. Other looks included custom Imag luts and artistic image masks.

MMV Designs worked closely with Mike D from the Beastie Boys for his summer 2018 festival tour. We directed and produced a 60 minute piece that encapsulated the entire show.
